Hello! Thank you for visiting my page! My name is Ken Dean; I am the Sole Proprietor of WooDean. I reside in Maryville, Tennessee with my family.
I am a 1997 cabinetmaking graduate of St. Paul Technical College
in Minnesota. As a high school student at Illinois School of the Deaf
(ISD), I won "best in show" for three consecutive years at the Western
Illinois University's annual Technology Education Exhibit. My winning
projects were a cherry wood gossip bench, a cherry corner cabinet with
mirrors and lights, and an oak sleigh.

After college, I held several professional carpentry jobs, some of which included; working at a countertop company, manufacturing entertainment centers, and working at a commercial furniture and fixtures business.
It was always my dream to unleash my natural creativity and set up
shop independently. I am now the proud owner of my own growing
business, continually acquiring the power tools and machinery (non-CNC)
that allows me do my best work for you.

under my belt, I know WooDean can meet all of your woodworking needs! I
am on Angie's List with a grade of A.
WooDean is equipped with scaffolding.
I have a home-based shop and can also build on the job site. I'm happy to travel within an hour radius of Maryville, TN. Your appointment will be based on your availability and WooDean's job schedule.
The focus of my business is remodeling and light construction. I work primarily with woods and laminates and can design just about anything for you in American and European styles.
WooDean has a shop trailer to bring the right tools to the job site.
